One unfortunate bounce off his glove away from 0 earned runs today. Exactly what he needed to get back on track.
bases clearing triple? eh, I'll settle for a slam and no cycle also, silly ruling on an E5... Springer was going to get there anyway.
I know it's really early, but Domingo is sitting pretty with a .294 average right now. It's so great to see after last season's debacle. He's just the Astros version of Clint Capela. All he needed to see was that first hit drop, then he could finally relax and show off his talent.
assuming we make a trade or trades, i'd say the likelihood of both santana and tucker surviving the deadline is pretty close to nil. would be some cut-throat stuff if they already deal tucker, so shortly after the feel-good story of the two brothers uniting. it's going to be interesting to see who they decide to part with (overall, not just the two of them).
He was hitting .200 through at the halfway point of today's game. Not sure he's "sitting pretty" in any way at this point.
Hence the "I know it's really early" at the beginning of the post. I'm not proclaiming the guy as an all star, just giving a nod to a player that couldn't even make contact last year.
"cold-blooded" would have been a better descriptor, but "cutthroat" makes plenty of sense contextually. do you know what it means?
Lol nope, why dont you post the relevant definition and explain how it relates to this situation for all of us since I dont get it.
