Common theme when the Astros struggle, remember to start the season how bad it was? It's the umps!

I can't watch Villar anymore. Dude is awful and has no business being on a 40 man, let alone a ML roster.

This 1-0 deficit might as well be 10-0.

Villar is awful at the plate.

We're back to making average pitchers look like Cy Young again.

During the win streak we got timely hit after timely hit, but now we can't even put multiple hits together. We were able to hide our terrible averages with those players getting one big hit a game. Bring up Correa and keep Tucker up and sit Carter.

No, the 8-U double play is not common at all, in fact I'd like to know the last time it happened. I'm sure someone will tweet it later.

Stros are in a tough situation lineup-wise: without Springer and Lowrie they are really RH deficient.

And this guy is not an "average pitcher", are you watching him tonight? He's got very good stuff, is not making many bad pitches at all, and has Country Joe West behind the plate. Those are 3 big things in his favor.

From a Google search, the last 8U double play was Desmond Jennings in April 2013. Jonny Gomes also recorded a 7U double play in July of that year.

Mike Cameron did it ten years earlier.

    Interesting stuff.

Is the Angels' pen any good? How rested are they? I'm waiting for their announcers, who are pretty darn good btw, to give me the lowdown.

Must be an LA thing.... the Clippers radio announcers are good as well. Very unbiased and mentioned Harden as "The Bearded One".

More a "Non-Houston" thing. Ours just suck (besides Blum)

One thing is for sure, you won't win if you don't score. Dallas gets no love now Colin.

Huston Street's pitched 2 days in a row, and had to work out of trouble last night and threw 25ish pitches, but the skipper told them that he "could be" available tonight.
