I have no faith in our bullpen. I just want to see if Qualls can get out of this inning then I'm going to sleep. Right now I'd say the chances we win this game are less than 50-50.

Qualls is running into some bad luck here, just get out with at least the lead.

Well there it goes... does anybody actually prefer these types of games to well pitch, well defended 2-1 games?

    I hate the AL... boo.

A high chopper, you have got to be fricken kidding me...

Why does Garner stubbornly stick with a struggling pitcher?

Sure it is some bad luck but bring in someone else.....throw the Angels rythmn off......

To be fair Qualls has been the recipient of some damn good ground ball hitting by the Angels this inning...he made a mistake with the walk...but other than that some close calls that went the other way and some frustrating hits.

So we score 9 runs, which barely ever happens...and our pitching is failing us. :(

Un-freaking-believable. I don't know why but this team just has terrible luck. I can't count the number of times they've made me want to throw something. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg.

I dunno... the ground ball to Loretta's right should have been gloved... and the DP ball that he bobbled should have cleaned up the inning.

If we're going to bring up EVERY time Loretta does something good with the bat... our defensive shortcomings have to be exposed.

They are doing just that right now. We can't field, we can't throw, we can't catch, we can't pitch.

Well, assuming Everett doesn't bobble the near double-play, inning's over on the sac fly, so that's at least 2 runs Everett would have saved so far. :)

I'm positive had Garner taken out Qualls this wouldn't have happened. Our bullpen is susceptible to running into this type of luck. Once things start going bad they only get worse. Here comes a homer just to complete tear every last Astros fans' heart out.

You're "positive".... and you're saying everything would have been changed due to luck.

Yes... that's the perfect way to run a baseball team.

Why not just blame the real culprit... the rally monkey, and its mystical lucky powers for the Angels. Or, why not just blame the "real" angels... the ones that helped them in that movie.

    They're real... "it could happen".
