Essentially, though, that was just a "seeing eye" grounder. They certainly weren't hitting him hard. I'd much rather have a releiver pitching that was giving up bleeders for hits than one that was giving up bullets for outs. Had Garner taken him out and the next guy starts giving up line drives, I can just envsion folks wondering why he took out Qualls who was only suffering from bad luck.

These Angels are pretty stacked... they've got solid pitching, a TON of speed, and great balance up and down the lineup.
