    Essentially, though, that was just a "seeing eye" grounder. They certainly weren't hitting him hard. I'd much rather have a releiver pitching that was giving up bleeders for hits than one that was giving up bullets for outs.

    Had Garner taken him out and the next guy starts giving up line drives, I can just envsion folks wondering why he took out Qualls who was only suffering from bad luck.

    Twenty years and Biggio still cant lay off that slider for strike three. I am shocked that Pence walked!

    I am interested to see how they respond in tonites game.

    These Angels are pretty stacked... they've got solid pitching, a TON of speed, and great balance up and down the lineup.

    The inning is over right there if Lamb doesn't ole, and Loretta gets the easiest DP ever.

    But as it is, its all on Jennings now.

    the only way this Jennings trade will work out is they trade him at the deadline for some prospects.
