It’s sad watching Verlander go through this. I remember when Steve Carlton did. Greg Maddux too. And others. I guess I don’t feel too bad. He has more money than some countries and he gets to bang Kate Upton too. I think he’ll survive.

The answer seems pretty simple now. Blanco is not hitting a wall as was asserted here on too many occasions to even count. He's your 4th starter. You put JV in the pen for specialized situations. Mainly a bridge to the bullpen.
Verlander is washed, we can't roll him out to beat anyone - he is throwing BP with 93mph straight fastballs. Father time is undefeated. No Verlander on playoff roster...I don't care what his rep is/was. DD
I do appreciate the sense of urgency by Espada. Well done. Didn't need to see a 2 run bomb given up by Ort.
At this point, I don't even want Verlander to make his final regular season start at Cleveland, if that game ends up being meaningful in any way.
I don't understand the hate for Espada. He is one of the main reasons Jon Singleton is even on a major league roster and he has flourished.
Rangers are literally not gonna try to win a single game this weekend. It's like Russia and Iran working together. You hate them both equally. You pray for their demise.
