    But the 3 guys filling in as the 4th/5th/6th starters have a combined era of roughly 3.50.

    So your implication that the bullpen needs to save the starting rotation is not a reality.

    The bullpen just needs to stop imploding plain and simple.

    Think I read we have the best record in baseball over the last month? Is that right? I only get my Astros news from this forum so I assume we’re on the path to being the first MLB team to ever be relegated. I’ll hang up and listen.

    Bullpen was 2nd best with 3.10 era before today.

    That has ballooned to 3.28 and puts 5th now.

    9-2 since Altuve returned (that includes that Pressly blown save).

    Astros averaging exactly 6 runs a game since Pena was put back in his rightful place in the lineup, 2nd.

    That would put our offense 2nd only behind Texas.
