Sorry man but any lineup benching Chas for Julks against a LHP isn’t “damn good” it’s idiotic

THIS is why all the talk in other threads about finding a platoon partner for Chas make no sense, Dusty already won’t play him regularly vs LHP

 

But Maldy is actually above average vs LHP

And Diaz has been so bad vs lefties that Abreu is laughing at him.

In fact Abreu's OPS vs lefties is 372 points higher than Diaz's

 

then idk wtf i'm talking about then.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, Dusty is going to have all the outfielders on a rotation. Chas played the last two games, off today.

Will be even more variable once Dubon starts getting CF starts.

He doesn’t want anybody just sitting unused perpetually on the bench. Pretty sure he knows the metrics… but at this point in the season, still keeping guys active/contributing is being deemed valuable in the big picture (and yes, he’s been doing this all of these years… if anything, he was resting stars more the last few years vs this year).
