yep. Dubon should not be on the playoff roster. Period. He can’t hit worth crap and is way overused. He’s had more than enough playing time to prove he doesn’t belong. His defense is ok - and yeah he plays a lot of different positions - but he’s still a way below average mlb’er. Diaz fills his role. He needs to be DFA’d
Vazquez is not a great hitter by any means. Imo, the gap between Vazquez and Maldy defensively is larger than the offensive gap.
Unfortunately for him, if he wants to supplant a veteran that the team fully trusts and has been a huge part of the team's success, he'll probably have to do more with the at-bats he gets.
