It’s a legitimate concern. We’ve yet to develop a legitimate pitching prospect under this regime (LMJ counts but the jury is probably still out on him as being a viable long term starter). Whitley should be legit once he makes it, but him making it to Houston has been more challenging than most of us expected.
I just dont see see LMJ being a starter. Health is his problem. I think he can be a badass bullpen weapon though.
I also don't know if Luhnow possibly needs to trade for two starters. Obviously we know there is a clear need for one but if Peacock isn't healthy... not good
