Isn't that below average for a team that is supposed to be well above average?

Maybe - except it's a fairly fluky and random stat due to the small sample size. There's no predictive value behind the stat.

The other way to look at it is that if they are scoring lots of runs and getting shut out in an oddly-high 6% of their games, they are doing even better than you'd expect in the other 94% of their games. :D

So no Tucker? I get we are in the thick of a pennant race but half the lineup hasn’t exactly convinced they should be playing everyday over Tucker

Can't wait to see Tucker back in the lineup, whenever that will be. Hinch still standing firmly behind Correa at cleanup.

If we lose the division lead, then Hinch will feel the pressure from the FO to change the order of the line-up.

I am confident McCann can provide extra leadership. He can talk tough to players even if Hinch doesn't want to or can't.

My god that is an easy 98-101. Future backend pen arm if nothing else.

Well, Maldonado clearly has a stronger arm, but McCann does provide a ton of leadership with the pitching staff, which the pitchers and coaches seem to really value a lot.
Big fan of James, absolutely impressive. Definite keeper, hope his future is bright.

It would be cool if he could throw the occassional strike.
