    This offense is just plain bad. They're not slumping, this is who they are. How many stretches like this have we seen--it's been all year long. It's time all you fanboys out there that think the Astros can do no wrong admit that. I love the Astros, but my eyes don't lie.

    And the WS. My memory is not the sharpest, but are you thinking of 2011? I think that's the year where the Red Sox had the September collapse (before the second wild card).

    Why is he "overrated" and how do you know whether or not the players "respond to him"?

    eta: he was the hitting coach last year too, and I seem to recall the Stros having a good year
