if the rangers gave up two of mazara, andrus and profar, I'd be ok with them getting sale. Fielder always kills us , he is no longer there.
Springer? I'd even put Springer before Correa because of the talent that can play SS on this team and in the minors.
You'd let go of Correa... When Bregman is older, has a lower ceiling, and has yet to face a single MLB pitch (let alone the marketing influence Correa carries). That's not smart.
They would need to give up more than that for me to be happy. We suck against LHP, so having Hamels and Sale to go with Darvish would be pretty deadly. I wouldn't trade Sale yet if I were the White Sox.
Correa, Altuve, Springer, McCullers all off limits The key to giving up prospects for Sale is to ADD him to those guys. If you are removing a current stud for him, giving up prospects that they would want makes no sense
If the Astros traded Springer, then it's more of a straight up deal with maybe some other not great prospects available. I don't care how good of a contract Sale has, good everyday major leaguers under team control are still more valuable than Sale.

"According to FanRag Sports, Chicago is seeking five top prospects for Sale, with one MLB general manager saying that despite the high asking price, the White Sox will get what they are seeking before the trade deadline." Asking price for White Sox ace Chris Sale is five top prospects, report says White Sox Listening On Chris Sale, Jose Quintana "...The Rangers are currently unwilling to trade Mazara for Sale, but they’re open to dealing Gallo, Profar and some of their pitching prospects, per Sullivan.... ....Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara is on Chicago’s wish list if it swings a deal with Texas involving Sale, reports Sullivan (Twitter link). ....The Rangers are “making [a] serious effort” to pry Sale loose from the White Sox, according to MLB.com’s T.R. Sullivan (via Twitter). Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reported recently that the two teams were already chatting about Sale (and Quintana, too) before it became apparent that Chicago was leaning toward selling. There’s “no indication” as yet whether these talks are going to go anywhere, Sullivan notes, so it doesn’t sound as if there’s anything building in the immediate term. Indeed, Grant adds on Twitter that no “serious talks” have occurred as of this point. The key takeaway seems to be that Texas at least plans to take a real shot at pulling off a blockbuster. Indications are that Chicago would have interest in Joey Gallo and Jurickson Profar in any scenario involving Sale. We’ve heard those two names quite a bit of late, and obviously the pair carries a lot of trade value. Still, it’s quite likely that Texas would need to add some real talent to that package to get the White Sox to budge." http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/chris-sale
It's a shame idiots like Dibble will try and tarnish this amazing year by Altuve. The guy is just special.
