Horrible team work. Marvin should've waited to score until Correa got to 2nd. Double > Single Spoiler
Well, recap, i said McHugh was going to allow 2 runs, check I said Correa was going to hit a homer, check I said Correa was going to be the hero, check Great win I think Hinch was great tonight, the only thing i disagree was Kemp not running in the 8th, but i do agree with him pinch running. Also liked the 2 pinch hitters in the game. Also liked Sipp pitching to the lefty Calhoun and Giles coming to the game 1 run behind. Another good move by bringing Gregerson, last 3 games he has been dominant. Great game Astrossssssss
Soft sweep already. Love it. Astros baseball is ****** fun again. Now need smoke machines and beer goggles.
Ourstanding... freaking outstanding! What an AB. I can't believe he inside out that pitch and drove it the other. That's just some impressive hitting.
That is one of the reason i am not worried about Correa, he is walking a lot, and driving balls to right field.
4th Correa walk off this season, series win, and back to .500. To quote Ice Cube, Today was a good day
Was more impressed with the way he held off on the pitch right before that. 7 of the other Astros hitters strike out on that pitch while Altuve makes contact but likely grounds into a DP. He's been drawing walks quite a bit lately.... And crushing the ball. Locked in. Reminds me of how Bagwell used to always turn the switch on about this time of the year. Still only 21.
That's been his Achilles this year but he appears to be laying off more and forcing pitchers to throw strikes!
Correa is hitting over .285 with RISP, he is clutch. Now, the power goes down with RISP, but he hits well in those situations, plus gets walks, around .380 OPS.
Okay, Matt Thomas .... (acting like you don't understand what a "soft sweep" is, even after it's been explained 20x)

Correa !!! He is so good in these situations he knows putting the ball in play can do the job you don't have to always swing for the fences.
The kid is still the second youngest position player in the league. He's going to be unreal, sooner rather than later.
