Per ESPN... "The Astros trailed 3-1 after the 1st inning and came back to win. It was the Astros first comeback win of the season. Entering tonight's action -- every other MLB team had at least 3 comeback wins this season, and 3 teams (Giants, Orioles, Royals) led the MLB with 11. Now the Astros have 1."
And if the guys with the huge contracts don't start performing, they're going to end up firing a good coach for it. Good coach gone....commitments to underperforming, aging stars are here to stay, though!!!
I wonder if Altuve is the shortest player to ever bat third in a lineup... Also, I really like seeing Paredes get off to a decent start these two games. Frankly, it just makes me feel better since he was acquired in that sell low Berkman trade.
Bud has a lot of good years left in him. I wouldn't be so quick to trade him at the deadline. Would need a very good package to deal him
I'm just happy to see him do so well. I was really pulling for him to move to the pen, and I will eat crow on that. Veras did well... minus the plunk. I would love to see him turn it around and be another deadline deal if possible.
