Shocker... the white guy should've been booted. I'm tired of those country wannabe's like him and Buck.
Gideon should have not been voted off tonight. His voice was better for a different era, but he was way better then Kevin or Bucky.
Thank god Gideon was booted off, dont have to see them teeth again.... i swear, they should replace these smiley faces with his.
i hope he signed the first set of twins that were booted off first, not the second arrogant ones, well maybe they took the first set of twins' identity and were signed by JD
Anyone see this? I'm all for it if he were decide to go with it. I'd rather see him doing this than American Idol: Chris Daughtry to join rock band Fuel? Fuel Looks To American Idol For New Singer? By: Chad March 7, 2006 8:04PM EST After American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry's arguably impressive cover of Fuel's song "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)", the band is reportedly in talks with the contestant about joining the band and taking the place of the recently departed lead singer Brett Scallions. Jeff Abercrombie, the Fuel’s bass player, said Daughtry did "a great job. This guy delivered. And he delivered like he’d written the song himself." Following Daughtry performance, Idol judge Randy Jackson reportedly told Access Hollywood that "Chris just got offered to be in the band Fuel, their lead singer is gone so they are trying to get it together." But it may not be a sure thing. Fuel is having a contest to replace their lead singer. Their web site’s announcement for this search mentions Daughtry's performance, but also asks others to send in performances for consideration. The band will have to offer Daughtry a spot soon if they want him, since American Idol finalists are all held under contract with the show after they reach a certain point in the contest. As for Scallions, he recently posted a message on his MySpace blog explaining his side of the story. "The decision I have come to at this point in my life is to retire from Fuel. This is not a decision I just came up with at the drop of a hat. I have been thinking about this since the end of the Something Like Human tour... I feel like I need to push myself more as a musician and a writer and this is the best thing for me right now. Carl is a great songwriter. I have great songs in me too. Fuel, however, was never much of a collaboration."
Can't believe they booted Gideon and kept Chicken Little and Bucky Beaver. Even Chicken Little was shocked when they told him he was staying. Did you see his face? I'm glad they didn't kick Melissa off. If that would have happened, I would have quit watching. She's really got an incredible set of....vocal chords. I can't wait to see what they look like....er, what she sounds like next.
I agree with all the other people voted off, but Gideon??? COME ON!! that boy might have been Vernon Maxwell crazy, but he sure could sing better than most of the other guys on the show..
Is that the kid from the woodlands? When I tuned in for a sec he was singing "How sweet it is to be loved by you." I know he was gone, that was lame. What did the judges say to the gray haired guy who I thought was like in his 40s but now I know is 29. I saw him singing "taking it to the streets" and changed it.
