I loved how he walk off the stage after singing.

Walked right by Seacrest, with no acknowledgement. :D

    Oh, man...

DD, just because his songs aren't on TRL doesn't mean they suck. Actually, it's quite the opposite. I think his music is much better now than the Purple Rain era.

Personaly I think he did it for Paula Abdul. I know they go back pretty far. But he showed out when he performed though.

No it doesn't sound TRL which is great but it isn't like his sound has changed much over the years. What he sang last night sounded very 80's to me.

I love Prince but the dude seems a bit dated. He is a great preformer though. He does what he does very well.

I actually didn't see him last night. I was just speaking in general. I loved Musicology and Chaos and Disorder might be my favorite of them all.

Actually, it seems like he is getting back to that funk style, and funk ain't ever dated IMO. Some of his recent stuff hasn't been my fave, but the dude is his own man, writes and now owns all of his own stuff, and could give a **** what critics or the public want. He only has to sell like a tenth of what he used to to make the same bucks. The tunes he did last night were definitely throwback and I for one will be looking for them.
