It's nothing. She has on the same color underwear as her dress. I noticed it when it first aired. They looked like bloomers if you know what that means (or if you're willing to admit that you know ) You can even see the pantyline through her dress......so you wouldn't see bush. Sorry.
Funny that Seacrest basically pointed out what happened instead of playing it off cool for the girl's sake.
Did anyone else hear Taylor curse? "They are a great, great band..and it's f*****g great (patting his chest)" -Taylor Hicks on the Beetles
I thought Mcphee was just a tad better than Paris.. I did not understand the weird movements on the floor like she had to pee really bad though... I'd think that her (Mcphee) and Paris will be in the bottom two... I thought Elliot was solid on both songs and Chris came in a week second best last night with Taylor pulling in just an average night with that kinda creepy version of play that funky music white boy song..
I only got to see everyone's second performance, but I thought that Elliot was by far the best in that round. After him I'd rank everyone like this: 2. Taylor 3. McPhee 4. Chris 5. Paris But like I said, this is only on the second round of songs. I missed the first half of the show.
On my soap box yelling into megaphones Killing hard rocks using carcasses as stepping stones -Sage Francis
His first song was corny as hell, and the second was hookless and therefore boring by Idol standards.
I'm glad that Paris is gone. Taylor is still my favorite, but it's down to the four that I least want to be kicked off the show. I think that Katherine will be leaving next week even though I was surprised that she wasn't bottom two this week. I really liked her second song and I actually liked the crawling around on the stage thing that she was doing. It doesn't really matter who goes next week because it will come down to Chris and Taylor in the end.
Does anyone else think that Chris and Elliot will get signed by someone if they don't win the contest? Chris is obviously very popular already, and he's more contemporary than anyone else on the show. Elliot is just unique. He's a white guy with an R&B vibe. Not too many of those around. I don't know about Katharine...she's a bit too bland. Nothing would really set her apart from other female pop artists. Taylor just doesn't strike me as someone that record labels are going to fall all over themselves for either.
Chris is the most marketable and will likely sell the most records regardless if he wins or not. Elliot has a great voice and will get a deal also. I do think that Taylor will get some deals because he is popular, and he really can sing. Taylor doesn't have the voice for pop music, which is what AI is built for, but I believe he'll be successful after the show. I'm with you on Kat. Her voice sounds great sometimes, and other times she sounds like a 2nd rate Kelly Clarkson.
I think Elliott gets Paris' votes. What will they sing? I would love to hear Elliott do "love me tender" and Taylor singing "bridge over troubled waters" but he'll probably do something upbeat. No doubt Kellie would have done "jailhouse rock" and dedicated it to... Chris will probably scream "hound dog" Kat should so some sexy version of "are you lonesome tonight"
Interesting opinions here. Regarding Paris I've said from the beginning that she may have the best voice in the competition, but her presence and song selection just wasn't going to cut it. Elliott is the best singer, if I listen to him with my eyes closed the guy's control is amazing but there's just something about him that bores me. It could be that I'm an old-scool r&b guy that really is really picky about those incessant "vocal runs" that are so prevalent today. Katharine is much the same in that she can sing a lot of songs they way most singers can't, but I never find here takes interesting. Chris probably has this thing locked up, but I don't really see the creativity from him the judges do. It's been great to see a talented rocker excel on that show though. Taylor, I've been rooting for him from day 1, but "Something" was probably the only thing he's done since "Levon" that I really liked. I agree with Randy that "a Beatle vibe" does suit him. I'd really been interested to see him take a stab at McCartney's "Let Me Roll it".
