You misunderstood me. I wasn't saying she's pretty but can't sing. I was saying she's pretty, but she's not as hot, in my opinion, as everyone is making her out to be.
yes, thank god pickler is out. now send paris home and i'll be happy with the 4 and whatever happens till the end. (might make me not care as much, which they probably don't want...so they should probably have a surprise go down and have Chris sent home or something, just to mix it up)

I never watched until this season--is it going to be the norm from now on to reveal the highest vote getters? If so, we'll really know if dialidol is getting it right.
you're right. I just think the others are overall more entertaining--and it is about entertaining as well as singing. Also, I can see the great voice Paris has...but I'm not a big fan of it. I don't dislike it, but it's not super enjoyable either for me. If she sang a jazzy, old-school kinda style on a CD I'd give it a listen.. but I can't see myself enjoying her more than any of the others through any of the rest of the weeks on Idol since I haven't yet (and since it was based on voice type, not ability). Plus as we all know by now she has a mom and grandma in the business and could easily get a foot in the door without the show.. so let her do that. I think Taylor and Katherine are on the top level for me (overall--though I know Taylor isn't as good a singer as Elliott)..as long as Taylor sticks to stuff more his style, unlike this week and one of the other weeks. Elliott and Chris are just a notch below those 2...mostly because Elliott generally bores me except for his exceptional voice. Even looking at him when he gets into the music is still pretty boring to me, but his voice is good enough to overcome it a lot of times. Chris might move back up if he gets a chance to sing his kinda song...he's tried to go away from it, with some success..but I think it's time for him to go back to his stuff.
