Personally I hope Bucky Beaver wins the whole damn thing. It would just prove how stupid the show really is. I think a lot of people are voting for him as a joke. I think it would be brilliant if some mountain-trash, hillbilly butterhog redneck ended up as the American Idol. Yes, I'm still bitter. I've only seen 1 or 2 episodes since they voted Melissa and those 2 incredible blouse-clowns of hers....er, uh, Melissa and her lovely voice off the show. BTW, I heard Paula was really out of her mind the other night. Is this true?
She was flopping all over the table and got realy caught up on a few simple words. Since she says the same thing about everybody you'd think she would write some lines down so she woun't stumble as much. Randy has on more make-up than a corpse at the MAC counter.
Last night I thought Elliott was GREAT and put EVERYONE to shame.. Chris like Simon said had a shot to do something great, but while he did well it could have been great if he picked a better Queen song.. I thought Katharine did well overall, but she did have a hard time hitting some of the high notes.. Kellie her overall act is crap IMO.. "What's ON PAPER?" her outfit and song were horrible.. Taylor was embarrassing with his stand kick and how slow he started, but he finished strong so overall I'd say he did well.. Paris isnt going to last much longer and I wouldn’t be surprised if she's gone before Bucky.. Speaking of Bucky, the dude is just not my taste and IMO didn’t really do well AGAIN last night.. Ace I thought did alright, but it wasn’t near as good as Katharine or Elliott.. I think it will come down to Bucky and Paris with Paris going home today.. WTF is up with Paula telling Chris something along the lines of the reason Queen never sings Innuendo live is because unlike Chris they couldn’t pull it off?? It's official Paula is on something if she thinks Chris can even hold Freddie Mercurys' jock..
The thing that angers me the most is that Kellie's accent gets more and more "Southern" every week. She's just trying too hard to fool us. Anyways, Chris, Paris, and Katherine, and maybe Elliot are CLEARLY miles ahead of everyone else. Taylor is a next in line behind those 4, but isn't in their stratosphere. My bottom three for this week is the three I feel are, overall, the least talented - Kellie, Ace, and Bucky. It definitely showed tonight, in my opinion.
OK, good...I thought I was the only one who caught that. That was HORRIBLE. She really did tell him he was better than Freddie Mercury. Unbelievable. Elliott was OK, but he had that Belinda Carlisle machine gun vibrato going last night and that really bugs me. The Pickle girl was obnoxious as usual. "On paper?!?!?" GOD, her act is getting old. She didn't even have a southern accent on the first few shows. Where did it come from all the sudden? Catherine had some pitch problems, but her song was the hardest and she did good enough to be the best performance of the night. She's got a major league voice. Taylor was back to the drunk Father at a wedding act....which for some reason I LOVE! I don't remember anyone else because their performances were forgettable.
I'll take Elliott's best song against anyone elses in the competition, he won't win but his record would be the only one I'd actually go out and buy. Maybe it's a taste thing but I really like his voice.

I agree that he won't win, but he's definitely the one that is my favorite voice. He's got a great tone and he's an excellent technical singer. Unfortunately for him he's not that attractive which counts for something on this show.
If I cared enough to call in a vote, I'd vote for him. The guy is downright entertaining. At first I hated him, but someone in this thread told me that he would eventually grow on me and that's exactly what happened. How can you not like the guy and his Elaine-dance? I get the feeling he couldn't give a sweet feathery Jesus whether he wins or not. You gotta respect that.
Short of an amazingly bad performance, at this point in the show it' all about demographics . . . Too many white males left. Paris is in it for the long hall. My pick for tonight's loser in my AI pool is Ace. The dude was just awful last night. Is it me, or is Bucky getting... better? BTW, Constantine is performing tonight on the show. Hide the kids and any sharp objects you might use to stab yourself with.
