yeah, but she sounded horrible last night...possibly the worst one last night. I wonder if this will turn racist as is has in the past as the 2 black singers were in the bottom 3 and 1 was kicked.. (I actually thought the voters did fine in their voting based purely off last night. Bucky coulda been in the bottom 3 too, but as long as he goes next week, I'm good..)
I threatened to stop watching if Katherine got booted last week. To me, she is the best out there, although I like some of the others also. Bucky never should have been in the top 12. I think people are getting tired of Yamin's face, but I still think he's good.
This isn't too different from the Rollingstone magazine's prediction, only that Mandisa goes a week earlier than Bucky. Katherine will win it all.

Maybe some people are voting by skin tone, but tell that to Rueban Studdard, or Fantasia. 2 of the 4 winners have been African Americans, and that is more than the entire Astros organization. DD
People were looking for a reason to vote the fat girl off. They made her sing country, which she doesn't have the voice for, and she performed very average at it. She wasn't the worst performance of the night, but it was terrible for her. It's time for Bucky to go next week. Either him or Ace will do, but I doubt Seacrest will let Ace get voted off the show.
I think Bucky is being voted forward as a joke, wasn't there a site dedicated to the worst one last season, that they kept him in for a while? Got to be what is going on with the Buckstar. DD

I don't think Bucky should be in the top 8 now, but it's weird that Randy and Paula always have great things to say about him after he sings. What's up with that?
Give me a freaking break. You know that Whitney Houston once did a cover of a country song. Hmmmm, now which one was it? Oh yeah, her most popular song. There are PLENTY of country songs that could have taken advantage of her vocal range. Mandisa's downfall was doing a karaoke cover of the most famous stripper in Nashville, Shania Twain. (That's a Johnny Cash quote, btw.) Shania's talent has never been her voice. She has a very finite range vocally.
OMG.. I thought country singers were supposed to be rough, tough and rugged not get so much plastic surgery they look like a dog with its scruff pulled all the way back like Kenny Rogers does.. I think he has hair plugs too, they guy has to be pushing 70.. I dont understand how all these clebs think they will look better after all this "work" they have done..
The problem with Mandisa is that she is not a good role model and doesnt deserve to be American Idol. I mean these are people who kids looks up to. Kids! How can you tell kids that its ok to be irresponsible with dietary habits, and live in such an unhealthy manner. There is no discipline involved with her eating habits. Same goes for Ruben. The horror!
Mandissa should have never been voted off tonight. She is definitely one of the better voices on the show. The only reason that I can think of that Bucky keeps getting voted forward is that he is getting the trailer vote. Every trailer trash, Nascar loving, inbred, hillbilly r****d is voting for him because he can't speak english properly and says, "Ah shucks" after every song. I also cannot understand why Paula and Randy says that he does a good job. He is horrible and is hurting the quality of the show. I have been wishing that he would go since before the final 12 was announced. I am also growing tired of Pickler. You are a hick, we get it even though its a huge act. She is still really hot. Too hot for her own good. After Bucky and Pickler, I hope Paris goes. Her whiney ass voice makes me cringe. I thought she sucked this week even though she is typicallly really, really good. Also, her mom or grandmother or someone is a former star. It isn't like she doesn't have connections so it kind of pisses me off that she is there. Chris and Catherine are definitely my two favorites and I hope they are the last two remaining. It would be the first time that I wouldn't know who I wanted to win the show at the end of the season. Kelly was easy to pick over the pubic haired guy. I hated Clay Aiken. Fantasia was better than Diana and Carrie was much better than Bo, the stupid hippy. It would be very very difficult for me to pick between the two of them. I also like Elliot a whole freaking lot. That dude is really good every week.
