Respectfully, I don't know why you guys are so hard on Chris. He clearly said that he was going to take the Stevie Wonder version and the RHCP version mix it together to make it his own, and that's exactly what he did. He figured out a way to get over and did a good job on it.
It's definitely just an act. Nobody is that stupid in real life. Also, I don't know what it is, but I CAN'T STAND Bucky. He also seems really stupid (abnormally stupid) to me. Everything about him just bothers me. I started hating him even more after he butchered one of my all-time favorite songs (The Thunder Rolls) and didn't get voted off.
I just think he's a one-trick-pony. He's good at what he does, which is imitate the singer from Fuel. IMO, you have to be versatile to win the show. He basically sings the same kind of song every week. I'll give him credit though, he's one of the only ones that isn't playing a character. I'd just like to hear what else he can sing. But please...FOR THE LOVE OF THE SWEET FEATHERY JESUS....shave those sideburns! I was actually more pissed at the people who thought doing a rock version of Higher Ground was his idea. It wasn't. My girlfriend absolutely HATES her. She's been calling her a fake since they first showed her on the show. What's kind of funny is that this is basically the same thing that Jessica Simpson has been pulling for the last couple of years.

ya know.....the biggest problem with not watching most of the prelim stuff(aside from the city auditions) and then tryin to come in here and participate in this thread is that I have no idea who anyone is aside from Taylor and the guy that did the RHCP song....adn I only know who that is since yall are talking about it right now. Who is the girl with the BIG singing voice and the little girl talking voice? Who is the fine little brunette? Who do yall keep calling Bucky? Who is Pickler?
