I'm not sure about this, but it seems like after the final 9 get chosen, there will be one more episode called Wild Card. It will be 12 singers (out of the 24 discards) that the judges have chosen or maybe the fans, or some combination of both. And then after those 12 wild cards perform, 3 will move on to the final 12. That scenario makes sense to me...though I haven't found anything saying specifically that it's the way things are going to be.
I think you guys who think Tatiana is actually a good singer are crazy. She's better than someone who's "just on the show cause she's crazy". She can sing. However, she's not very good and certainly doesn't deserve top 12 to me.. I agree w/the person who said Jasmine Murray is seriously overrated. Though Anoop may have had pitch issues yesterday, he's been good besides that..and he was still better yesterday than the rest (except Ricky/Danny/Alexis)
Actually it was the website "Vote for the Worst" plus Howard Stern and his minions that kept Sanjaya around way too long. And I disagree on Jasmine Murray - I think she is underrated compared to someone like Lil Rounds. Don't get me wrong - I feel that Lil is a good singer but the way the judges go on and on about her, it makes me sick.
I think this new format will definitely supposedly bring the contestants their top performance because they only have one chance since they can't really count on the wildcard. We will know who sang and chose the best song under pressure of having only one chance
Based on the three contestants in top 12, i thought Danny is good Michael is Okay and Alexis...I didn't find her song touching, did she sing that song good, great,overwhelming? anyways,just no feeling at all. Anoop....Hope u can come back to top 12~~~
Yeah, Lil Rounds is worse than Jasmine Murray.. but I don't think either one should move on. And both have received too much hype
I still can't believe that Norman guys is through. He will be a laughing stock for me. I'm still gutted that he is through while Danny's best bud, Jamar isn't through or at least battle it one-on-one at the last day. For once I had doubts at the judges selection. And also for Fowler who forgot the lyric and just left the judges like that go through, man he just ruined his second chance that maybe only one people could have get
This new way SUCKS. It is the producers way of fixing the show, they highlight people all during hollywood week, then when voting happens, who do you think America is going to vote for? Some of these singers are very good but people have never seen them at all. It is pure total crap what they are doing..... DD
I'm sorry but I don't get this. There are tons more people in the competition now and from this weeks episodes that got more hype and publicity than Jasmine Murray. You can't say she's been featured more than Tatiana, Danny, Jamar, Norman, Jackie etc.
The fat psycho girl can't sing and shouldn't have made it this far. Anoop dogg got a raw deal and if he isn't a wildcard I'll be pissed. Danny, the guy whos wife died, is very good and has a good story, his voice can be a bit rough though. His buddy is who got cut is better than half of these 12. The teeny bopper girls were a disaster. Anoop dogg did awesome IMO and I loved the song he sang. The roughneck guy is a good singer, but his song choice and performance weren't so good, but he made it thru. The pink haired tipped girl did good, but i really can't stand the type of music she is singing so i'm not into her. Joanna Picotti the girl who got cut because she knew insiders on the show is smokin hot, I love her.
Is it me or is Paula really high off her ass right now? She has that dazed and confused look about her. Does she have a pill problem? Too many Xanax or something. lol
He is actually very good, just picked a bad song tonight. You should have heard him sing "Georgia on My Mind." He could have a radio hit with that song, probably. In my opinion, he would have been much better off singing "This Love" by Maroon 5 (which the other girl destroyed) if he wanted to stay current. The guy's got tons of talent, and was actually one of my two picks to win it. If the judge's get to pick the wild cards (not sure if this is true?), then he'll probably be in the top 12. The 16 year-old girl is probably the only girl worth having in the top 12 so far, in my opinion. Norman Gentile(did I get his name right...Nick Bishop) had a very entertaining performance. I wouldn't be surprised if he is somehow put through. I would love to see what he does every week. American Idol could make a stab at the comedy market.... For some reason, I don't like the Lambert kid. I just think he is annoying.... At this point (after one round, with another group left, I know), it'll probably come down to him and Danny Gokey.
