Yep...he performed around 9:00 PM. Spoiler Simon didn't even bother to review his performance, he simply gave him a standing ovation.
i was at the rockets game and missed the show. i think we are limited to the recap during tomorrow's show... though, a search on a torrent site might bring better results.

I think Lambert tried to do a little too much with a song that should really rely heavily on the lyrics to create the mood. In certain parts he had it right, but in others he took it in a direction I didn't like. Plus he sounded nasally at certain points and his last note was way off at first. Strange how the judges completely overlook that with him... Still better than his other performances, to me...except for maybe the week before last. That one was alright.
I agree that he was off on some points. The judges were already way over time and couldn't say anything...I'd like to hope they would have criticized parts if they had time

Damn Fox running over and screwing everyone who DVR’ed the show because of the Rockets game! I thought the redhead (Allison?) was the best last night. The judges nailed it…she has a very strange personality, but you can’t argue with her vocal ability. 17 years old and she can sing like that? She’s got kind of a Janis Joplin thing going on. I really like her bluesy raspy voice and she can belt it out when she needs to. Matt was good too. He’s been off the last few weeks, but kind of redeemed himself a little this time. Good song choice for him. The blind guy was just AWFUL. He needs to go. Horrible rendition of a horrible song. Then when they called him on it, he got defensive and starting trying to argue with them. “But, but, it shows my versatility!!” Never a good idea to argue with the judges. Take it like a man. Lil wasn’t that bad. I think the judges are always too hard on her for some reason. Gokey was lame. That wasn’t even close to the Mickey Gilley version. Anoop was alright. What did he do to piss off the judges last week? Did I miss something? Adam….man, I hated him for a while, but he’s starting to grow on me. Ever since he did Tracks of My Tears a few weeks ago. He definitely has a Freddy Mercury thing going on. Has he done a Queen song this season? If he did, I think he could pretty much wrap this whole thing up. Hell, I'd rather see Queen with Adam than Queen with Paul Rogers.
I still don't get all the Adam love, the dude is perpetrating and that's my number one pet peeve with artists.. Either Scott or Chris will be going home tonight..
For me, Adam is the only Idol contestent that I look forward too, every week I wonder, what is he going to be doing next? I find him entertaining in a Freddy Mercury sort of way.. DD
