America is lame (in terms of voting for idol)... oh the big oil rig guy was trying to jack up more sympathy votes last night, talking about his daughter and stuff.
And that's exactly why the judges need to have final say...let America vote the bottom three, who then have to sing one final time to impress the judges. Then you don't have to hold your one and only "save" and the person most deserving of staying does. It's such a simple concept.
I'm all for that formula. Judges didn't save her probably because they think she has little chance of winning it all, so it matters little to them.
Me too, she had something about her that was flaming molten hot lava..HAWT ! But I was not surprised they kept their save...I imagine they wanted that with Daughtry a few years ago.... DD
Well I guess that staffer that claimed AI was rigged is eating a great big piece of crow right now since Alexis was eliminated. I hated that as I liked her the best out of the women. Someone said it earlier but it is so true - if Megan farted into the microphone, the judges would fall all over themselves saying how great it was. And sure enough, after another awful performance, Megan "Joy" was praised by the judges even Simon! I mean I sat there, shaking my head in disbelief. It is like what planet are these judges on thinking that her stuff is any good? It was like since she was "sick", she deserved to be given a second chance by America and the judges wanted to make sure all of America knew that. That was so lame for them to keep pimping her. She truly sucked. And that damn tattoo on her arm just makes me physically sick. I honestly can't make up my mind what pisses me off more about her: 1) The love that the judges have for her 2) Her stupid, gross tattoo 3) Her singing voice 4) Her idiotic dancing (someone said that she looks like a toddler and I have to agree, my son who is going to be 11 weeks old tomorrow can dance better than this idiot.) My rankings 1 - Matt 2 - Adam (love him or hate him, I think he will be there at the end) 3 - Danny (his designer glasses are really starting to annoy me) 4 - Allison 5 - Kris 6 - Anoop 7 - Lil (loved it when Simon called her "Little", you know that she thinks she is so badass since her name is "Lil Rounds") 8 - Scott (he really doesn't have that great of a singing voice as much as I hate to admit it) 9 - Megan 10 - Michael It's amazing how one song can make someone in this competition look like they have no chance ("Viva La Vida" which Matt tried singing a while back and he was absolutely terrible at it).
Damn I really want Anoop to win. The R&B genre needs a singer like that these days. It's been a while since a Boyz II Men type voice got popular. Megan was alright this week. Adam freakin' needs to go. I'm beginning to like that Matt Giraud dude. I hate Allison and the ugly faces she makes. She needs to go. I haven't been high on Danny but the second half of that song was great. Still don't expect him to win though. All those other guys and girls need to go.

I just watched since I was out of town..figured I'd put this up even though it's done since I seem to every week Matt Anoop Allison Danny Kris Alexis Michael Lil Scott Adam megan sounded pretty good for her, but i can't stand watching her..so i don't know where to put her ------ so don't think Allison deserved to be in the bottom.. i'll read what other people thought in a sec. Listening to Alexis do even worse in her attempt to get saved, so I really hope she doesn't.. (okay, good) I liked Adam once, I thought he was ok last week, but I thought it was crap and for once, "indulgent" was right Lil looked uncomfortable as expected I guess
You know, this goes against all that I stand for in this world, but..... I actually kind of dug that.... Still hate Lambert though.
goodbye michael... the other bottom two will probably consist of MJ and matt or kris. adam did well and then danny followed him up and did nicely too... and allison wow, just knocked it out. like the judges asked, she's 16?!?!
I think Kris is my favorite...he hasn't had a bad performance yet, always consistent, is under the radar and has that John Mayor-esque style that I like. May not be the best singer vocally but I don't care. Michael needed to go home weeks ago...shoot he shouldn't have even been in the top 13. Scott I was rooting for, but his performances have gotten stale. Lil Rounds sucked tonight as well. And the judges and Ryan are all cowards for not asking Danny why he ignored the advice of a legend...and not only ignored it but basically lied in his video.
matt giraud and allison were the only reasons to watch tonight. thank god for tivo so i didn't have to sit thru commericals.
