Anderson didn't want anything to do with that last pitch. Friggin' sweet.

Lights Out Lidge strikes out the side.

9 strikes thrown by Lidge. NONE of them touched my AL bats. All of them were swinging strikes!

Figures FOX cutoff and made the screen small so we can see Roger's face bigger.

Why does everyone hate Kenny Rodgers? I like "through the years" and "Lady."

Clemens and Lidge are the only NL pitchers with perfect innings... now, a Morgan hit would cap the night as a success (I even liked Oswalt's performance, despite the 2 ER's... because he shattered two big AL bats).

if there were ever a time to use the word pwn3d, that 7th inning performance by Lidge was it. just mowed them down like little leaguers. reminiscent of the 3 perfect innings against the cards in game 6 last year.

That was just sick......that blank look on Anderson's face after the second pitch said it all.

Anybody else watching this on HDTV? I keep hearing the crowd behind me on my surround sound... via DOLBY 5.1. That's one HUMONGOUS stripe across the screen going up and to the left. The replays are also awesome. Lidge's replays were aswesome.

C'mon... keep Lidge in there...he will close the 9th! Vamos, Liga Nacional... vamos...

SPeaking of, are there any NATIONALS in the National league team?

the first pitch was even better. i think he stared swinging some time in the 3rd inning on that one he was so far out in front.

If Tony keeps Lidge in for one more inning (I don't care how spectacular he was), I will personally go up to Detroit right now and beat his mullet-wearin ass.

They had some pitcher in there already that gave up 2 or 3 runs.

My favorite part of the game so far has to be the announcers reminding us over and over again about how Kenny Rogers is NOT a distraction. That's sweet. And I really liked the part where Lidge owned the AL (in the top corner of my screen so I could still see Kenny)

    KENNNYYYY!! KENNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm out of the country and the game is coming on ESPN. When Lidge was pitching, Rick Suttcliffe (sp?) and the other guy were going nuts. That two sliders to GA were sick.
