Well, at least Oswalt got two trophies from this game (two absolutely shattered bats of Damon and Vlad).

Unfortunately, he gave up 2 runs (but he can't be the losing pitcher).

What sucks is he only gave up one hard-hit ball. :(

And Eckstein should have made the play on Damon!

Crap, Beltran. Try making contact sometime.

Time for TLR to start subbing in some reserves. He should have hit Andruw Jones for Beltran and Aramis Ramirez better not get another at-bat.

Obviously TLR knows about the Roger-Piazza history.

Who's the fool that came up with the idea of interviewing a manager during the game? LaRussa doesn't look too enthusiastic about it.

Nice for Ramirez to get a third AB while Ensberg is still on the bench.

That seems to be the standard that TLR set for ALL the starters at the field positions (not C and DH), except for Kent (who is hurt). Can't blame the "set" rules of the genius.

Take it as a blessing. You're only missing "a great display for Chevrolet and Major League Baseball"(in that order).

He's the only NL pitcher who's had a perfect inning.

Prediction: Ensberg will be a factor (somehow) to the NL's first run.

Fitting that Kenny "Sugar Ray" Rogers is the one to blow the shutout for the AL. What an ass. Why would you want to go and get booed by everyone?

Great more delays till Morgan is up to bat.

That was one terrible rendition of God Bless America...IMHO.

YES! LIDGE will close this. Come on, Ensberg!!!
 All-time record: National League 40, American League 33, 2 ties (click years for recaps)

p.s. YES! A very very diverse Burger King Commercial. Mexicans in the car, Blacks rapping, and white people serving us. :D Sweet!
p.s. I think this "this one counts" rule sucks BURRO nutz. PLAINLY STUPID.
p.s.2: I think Coors' train is reminiscent of a phallic symbol (looks like our old Dildo with Teeth).

EDIT: Uprising, they reminded me of Bleeding Gums something something at the isotope game in the Simpsons.

Nice to see Lidge and Morgan get in the game.

Lidge's slider still gives me goosebumps.

Edit: Damn Kenny Rogers interview takes attention away from Lidge's performance. You know, this is the first time that most of these hitters have faced Lidge's slider. That must be fun.
