You know what's crazy? 11 out of 15 of those players listed are from the West.

JVG just said on TV (bos vs cle game) Yao would be first team if he didn't get injured.

A down year for Tracy is a career year for Manu.

lulz if you think garnett doesnt deserve to be on the nba first time. you guys need to stop being bias about tmac and yao. yao is very very lucky he even got on the team, and tmac wasnt spectacular this season.

I watch the games and see the same shooting problems and major inconsistencies as the numbers show. He does get a few good assists, but what games have you been watching?

And Steve Nash and Deron Williams are better facilitators than T-Mac, and better shooters too. They are POINT GUARDS.

You don't have to be a T-Mac apologist or hater, and you are entitled to your opinion. But I see what I see. You are not going to convince me that somehow T-Mac is a better player than what I see and what his numbers show.

Winning 55 games is meaningless. We had home court and can't be this same team 2 years straight. Love T-Mac all you want and ignore his flaws all you want, but I am absolutely not satisfied with the results, and he's a big part of the reason why.

Most likely and same thing goes for the last two seasons.

IF he plays at least 65, he is probably a 3x First team All NBA.

The pistons don't need no recognition.

So you blame Tmac for playing with all those injuries, and without Yao, and without Rafer for 3.5 games, and in addition to carrying the team by himself against a formidable opponent who only lost 4 home games during the regular season?

If thats the case, you should also call out Duncan, Manu, and Parker for all bombing against the Hornets.

Let's see, we win 55 games in arguably the tougest conference of all time with:

rookie pf who can't finish at the basket but whose hustle negates that
an offensively challenged but very defensively talented sf
a 41 yr old center with no offensive game outside of 2 feet
    Tmac
39% volume shooter at pg that averaged like 14 shots a game
    bench:
24 yr old rookie who didn't make an impact until 3 months into the season and still missed a good portion of games in the later half with a knee injury that he never recovered from,
    Luther Head, enough said
an inconsistant and bad decision making rookie at backup pg
Bobby jak/Bonzi wells---got lifts from them every 3rd or 4th game
Chuck Hayes---good defender but NO offensive game
Novak--won us one game, no defense to speak of

This guy is surrounded by mediocore talent without Yao and the Rockets still managed 55 wins, 4th best in the West and 2 less than number 1 Lakers. That isn't meaningless. McGrady also isn't the problem. He is the number 2 option for a team missing the most devistating low post scorer in the game for 1/3 of the season. 55 wins isn't meaningless. It's a testament to great coaching and great individual talent in Tmac to help get his limited role player type teammates[minus Yao] to over achieve. I'm personally displeased with management to not have more offensive talent on this team and displeased with the medical staff's inability to catch and prevent an injury. McGrady should be 2nd team. Sure he could have shot a few percentage points higher but nobody got more collective effort from a less talented group than the Rockets this year and Tmac was a big part of that.

How are Nash and D.Will both ahead of T-Mac when the Rockets lost Yao, yet still ended up with a better record than both of their teams?

The reason ppl think Tmac's bad is that the man had potential and actually reached the same level that Kobe's on. But he failed to remain on that level due to wutever reason. That, makes the man looked bad. Tmac's still good. he just couldn't hang on the expectation, which he once made.

To Yao, the key word is "Health". Once he can stay healthy for a whole season, he will automaticly become legit to fight for the position of the best center in the league. But giving the unthinkable performance that DH has been putting up all season long, I would give it to DH for this year. And I would like to see wut other teams' big men will do to the kid in the next season since DH won himself the respect of constant double team. And as much as I hate Amare, I do think the punk would be huge in the next season since he has range now and his range is extending. So my man Yao's better show up fresh next seaon to shake off the virginity in playoff to become a BIG MAN.

you are dead wrong. 55 wins in the western conference with yao out for 30+ games and a couple rookies leading the way at pf.

that's far more impressive than anything deron williams or steve nash did.

    manu ginobili? that's a f#$king joke.

it's fun to get cute sometimes but you're not being objective, you're being a hater.

like i said, manu can go for 8 pts in an elimination game of the other team, 11 and 19 pts in 2 losses on the road to the hornets, and nobody in the national media will care.

but if he puts up 31, wow, a bench player is doing that? congratulations.

    nuff said.

tmac has 20 pts, please, pathetic game. 40 pts, man, didn't score in every quarter. near triple double, man, didn't get that triple double.

Thank you. This is the truth. And that just shows that McGrady is on a whole different level

Bull*****. Rockets are candidates of all but winners of none?

Rockets are getting robbed here, big time. There are too many awards that rockets deserve but didn't get it.

Awards like something of the year are always forced to be given to other people. Bryon scott HAD to get it cause "he" was amazing to bring the hornets around.

Of course, Kevin Garnett. Kevin Garnett can suddenly jump from 0 to hero because he had to get some kinda of an award. Honestly, someone who has always been a candidate (battier) deserve to have his award sometime now.... Garnett just came in and he gets the award, yeah thanks NBA.

For me it's ok if you know that both players were injured all season long.
