How are you NOT going to start the Franchise savior Dubon?

I doubt there is a vote to determine the playoff roster. It is a euphemism for input.

Absent a directive from the owner, Click receives input (advice) and makes the decision on the Roster. Absent a directive from the owner or GM, Dusty makes the decision on which players on the roster play.

    Roster Prediction for ALDS.

12 Pitchers - season ending pitchers minus Urquidy and Neris. This assumes the Astros ask for and receives approval from Manfred to replace an injured player who has completed his required time with Hunter Brown.

14 Position Players. Every Position player on the active roster when the season ended.

I’m nervous AF. I get that the boys have been through this many times now, but the talk of sickness running through the clubhouse coupled with playing a hot team that hates your guts…Baseball always gonna baseball and that’s scary sometimes.

On the flip side of that, I’m always nervous when it counts. Let’s get those WWW’s.

It doesn't guarantee anything, but the Astros would be in very good shape if they win today. Game 2 would be a tossup since Castillo will be pitching on full rest and Framber(assuming he's the starter) has been shakier lately. And hell, even if he does have another quality start, the Astros could still lose if the offense struggles.

But I really like our chances beyond that. Castillo wouldn't be available again til Game 5 and that would be on 3 days rest.

I hate the damn day off. We got robbed there. It’s whatever. They have to go out and take it regardless.

I'd much rather have Urquidy and his postseason experience on the roster than carry 5 bench bats. And the best way to keep Dusty from starting Dubon is dropping him and his .548 OPS off the roster entirely.

Yeah, that actually helps the Astros if it's a long series.

As long as they don't get to pitch Kevin Brown in games 1 and 3 I'll take my chances. That 98 NLDS is always my go-to for being screwed by scheduling.

The Astros actually benefit from this schedule when it comes to starting pitching. Verlander could go again in Game 4 on 4 days rest. I don't want that to happen unless they're down 2-1, but at least the option is there for Dusty.

I would prefer that, but this is a prediction of what they'll do.

Dusty is trying right now to figure out a way to put him in the line up.

    Pisses me off
