    I don’t follow the Mariners that closely but I’m guessing he normally throws one inning. It might be different with two innings and only one day of rest.

    Josh Bell had similar hitting numbers to Mancini after the trade deadline but he actually started hitting well with the Padres when the playoffs started..

    that 2-1 pitch was a hanging meatball and he fouled it off, if you cant hit that pitch in a hitters count you dont belong on a playoff roster
