[Official ALDS] Astros vs. Royals

We've taken out the big dog in the playoffs from an attention standpoint. So think left for me to root for is the Mets or Cubs to meet us in the world series. The Cubs are probably the big attention draw. As the impending epic collapse is popcorn viewing pleasure. KC is probably the sexiest team in the AL from a rooting standpoint, but think most fans will be rooting for us as the little guys.

 

In a 5 game series, the most important to win is game 5.

For me, just so everyone has a game plan, it was orange powerade and hot chicken wraps from peri peri. That did in the Yankees. And I am stickin with the chicken.

I am laughing so hard that Carter is starting for us after the amount of hate this board gave him hahaha. Man beasted the last month.

 

Lol it's funny hearing people talk about setting a tone in baseball.. Stick to rhythm sports. :grin:

It was well deserved. He was simply horrid for 5/6 of the season. I was on that bandwagon. He has been playing well of late but that doesn't mean he couldn't have been replaced with more consistent production earlier on.

In terms of what we have, he's absolutely the right person to be starting at 1st. He's hitting and the other options aren't (Lowrie and Gonzalez).

 

Any official watch party in Houston?

 

Carter in September was the Carter of last year after the all star break.

The Astros needed that.

 

After you beat the Yankees, the lineups are typed and color coded, lol. We've hit the big time.

 

My confidence level in the Astros winning this game is illogically high.
