I can't agree with this. The "deflated" team had the lead and were feeling good a few innings ago and game 4 was forgotten about. Royals gut checked and battled back. More fire in the belly and resolve on their part. Not so much that Astros are losing this game as it is Royals are winning it.
You know. Born and raised in Houston. Long time ago. It gets frustrating to want a title in SOMETHING and be denied year after year after year. When will the draught end??? Will the rox deliver us a much deserved one this year?
Huh? you totally just contradicted yourself. Season averages often do not reflect short-season playoff averages because of sample size issues (works both ways). And lets not gloss over Correa having THE greatest post-season game in Astros history as "only one good game out of 4". Prior to tonight, the lineup as a whole lived up to their "season averages", which translated to the 3 post-season wins in 4 games going into Monday's game.
There is no rhyme or reason to what he does.... Give up trying to figure it out... Just hope that Luhnow dummy proofs the pen.
Some of you act like you haven't seen Marisnick hit for the bulk of the season. This game has been littered with tremendous defenders... who often don't play if they don't hit well enough.
