Disney is staying away from the Astros due to the fact that the cat is out of the bag that cheating is rampant in baseball and they’d rather keep that **** down... I don’t care... the less exposure these players have the more focused they will be during games. #chipontheshoulder
Agreed. Fox also better than ESPN at the moment. The other networks have shown the ability to address the scandal, while still trying to stay professional and acknowledge that the Astros are still a very talented/great team.
Our pitching staff is a 36 year old Zach Greinke, LMJ coming off of TJS, Ryan Pressley, and a bunch of guys that most fans have never heard of. Heck, most MLB writers & analysts probably had never heard of the other guys outside of maybe Framber & Urquidy.
The past couple of days have been pretty cathartic if you are an Astros fan. r/baseball absolutely hates it.
Hater's mindsets have changed on Twitter. For months it was the Astros couldn't win without cheating. Now it's...well no matter how much you win nobody will care and just remember you as cheaters. AstricksTour had a meme last night about now possibly pulling for an Astros/Yankees ALCS instead of rooting for the A's to knock out the Astros.
Astros fans are just as bipolar about their own team. How many times has Correa gone from beloved to hated and back in just the last year or two? A couple of weeks ago, the future was bleak, AJ and Lunhow need to brought back, trade people for the future, pitching staff sucks, offense sucks, this whole season is an asterisk, etc. Two wins against the Twins and we're World Series' bound.
I remember seeing "This season is over" right after that. But then again this forum is fickle as hell when playoffs roll around. You get posters that have never watched a game of baseball all season, popping in and offering their 2 cents.
