tucker is so underrated, it's gonna be a nice big dilemma splitting time between him and Yordan next season.
You have no idea. I was driving in Chicago and was listening to their local sports radio. They were discussing the Bears game... they had Brian Billick as a guest and in the middle of discussing the Bears defense the local guy blurts out “Sorry off topic but I really hate the Astros. They shouldn’t even be allowed to be a franchise for what they did... and they are going to the ALCS”... Billick said nothing and then said “I’m here to talk football” and it got awkward... and after a break the guy again said “strip their title and ban all the players.”
Wait...Brian Billick has opinions about baseball? Not surprised about the Chicago local yokel. That's cute, though.
Billick is strange to begin with.. I like him in the same way I like Larry David... Billick was not comfortable with the local guy changing the subject from football to the Astros and seemed miffed and made it clear he wasn’t going to discuss the Astros at all... the local guy didn’t know what to say after Billick got nasty with him so there were long pauses which was hilarious... after Billick hung up one of the local guys went back to bashing the Astros and the other local guy just said “I don’t know. I didn’t see any trash cans or buzzers in that empty stadium. They should have swept the A’s” and then there was awkward silence again and they changed the subject.
Some So-Cal guy named Alden Gonzalez has been writing the game summaries for this series on ESPN. He always mentions how every other fan base hates the Astros, and how they pulled off the biggest cheating scandal in the history of sports. He is hating how this is all going down.
That has to be the plan. It is probably his "in between starts" work out-day, so 2--3 innings followed by Snell. So real question are those throwing sessions at full intensity though? I also didn't know Cole has never pitched on 3 days rest.
As long as we have Greinke we can run a very good 5 man rotation against the Yankees. If Greinke goes down all hell will break loose because their is a major gap in our rotation talent after that. It's hard to argue against our poor results on short rest from Verlander to Keuchel, but I am a proponent on letting them pitch and putting your best on the mound as opposed to, say James or a bull pen session.
Twitter is funny. Dem HOES MAD.... Wont give us credit for nothing. We just beat two teams that tied for 2nd best records in the AL and theyre saying they were the two weakest of the playoffs. LOLOLOL. DEM HOES BIG MAD!!!!! In other news... Gerogie boy is very happy.
