Nope. The expectation is that he underperforms like his last several post season starts. I will be happy if the regular season Justin shows up.
I mean there is always a natural concern going into it. But I like to give him the benefit that he usually doesn't have 2 horrible starts like that in a row where he is just off. At least that's my hope.
Dude, I would love to meet you for a beer.....have fun! Maybe you should try that be respectful stuff on here. DD
A little. I don't expect him to be anywhere near as bad as in the ALDS, but I'm hoping there are no lingering issues with his calf. I do think Dusty will have a much quicker hook this time if he sees trouble in the first couple innings.
I think it's only natural to be concerned , but I also think JV will bounce back. He's been here before. We're going to need him to bounce back in order to win this series. Will be in Section 128 cheering on the good guys tonight!
Lots of people. Not me. Verlander has a better career, had a better year, and even for the people that worry about small sample sizes....Verlander has actually not allowed every hitter this postseason that has faced him to get a hit like Taillon. Postseason stuff can happen, but if it happens it happens.
Valdez. He's earned that this year. If it wasn't for his teammate he would be the #1. And he can pitch game 6 on full rest I want LMJ vs Cole and to shut that NY crowd up on the road It's the game 3 starter that should be prepped for Game 7 per Dusty. No issue with that being LMJ
Yeah, Framber was actually pretty solid in Game 2 of the ALDS. If not for his error, he gives up no more than a single run.
Those little mental hiccups that he tends to have with frustrating calls tend to linger way longer than it should. And we all see it impacting the play. I have all the confidence in the world with him if he can keep those emotions in line.
