    Since Cole's departure:
    Cole 36-19 3.28 ERA

    Replacement in the rotation:
    Valdez 33-15 3.05 ERA

Valdez' W-L total projects to 40-18 if he had the same number of starts during this time as Cole (75 vs 63).

McCullers and Brown both have too small a sample size for ranking, but a really great sample. Success in past playoffs is more of a tie breaker for me than part of the ranking.

Don't understand not moving the game to earlier. MLB can see the forecast and know they could play in early afternoon...

That important to have Yankees in prime time?

So full of excuses. They need to scrap this team from top down and start over. Loser mentality. Even Cashman does it.

If the forecast holds true, they still won't be playing in Prime Time.

Need to close this out in NY.
McCullers/Cortes will be a battle. Astros get the lead early and I think Yankees fold.

Game 5 Verlander game is the must win for us. Going against Taillon, we should win that game.

We leave NY with out closing out and things get interesting.

    Framber/Sevy is a pick’m game

Game 7 would be Garcia vs Montas?

Yankees get hot and Altuve/Alverez continue to struggle, you can see a window for Yankees to make this a series.

    Close this out in NY!

New York can still celebrate their 24-4 victory on 10/22/1845.

Was going to ask the same thing. There was plenty of time to move the game that didn’t involve waiting for today.

Doesn't look like there will be a game today. Good job MLB removing that off day. Astros need to sweep or else it starts pushing back days when starters are available for the WS.

When it comes to the rain in the post season, are they same rules as regular season? Like let's say Yankees or Astros go up and it starts raining and the game is called off before 5 innings. Do they start over tomorrow or will they continue from where they left off? And if the game is called off after 5 innings, is that the game? Or will they finish it off?

Maybe it's intentional. Put their incompetence on full display so it is easier to make the change in a year or two.

I believe they changed that rule in recent years. I think all game are resumed from where left off.

Rain in the forecast. Glad they built that new stadium with a retractable roof…oh wait….
