I wish he and Curry would just go suck face under a bridge. So childish. Put the freaking thing in and quit spittin' it out for all to see.

So damn happy that both Mancini and Vazquez got their moments in this post season.

Mancini not only gets an all important Sac Fly but he also gets both runners up a base. The most optimal out you can have in baseball. Setting up the stage Vazquez, and he delivered the knockout blow.

Btw, Mancini hit a terrific slider on the low outside corner. Vazquez similarly had almost the same pitch (not quite as good but certainly not a bad pitch).

This was by far the favorite part of this victory, having those 2 break the close game open.

Really amazing he was able to recall everything like that, especially after a disheartening loss. You think he would want to forget all of this.

Probably the most cerebral pitcher in the game.

Except not if he's a shitty player.

That's the caveat you're missing in your assumption.

    Barely hits .200.
    No power to speak of.
    No clutch gene in him.
Defense is sub-par and that is being generous.

You see where this is going?

Diaz has a lot of "value" .

Dubon should probably not be in the major leagues right now.

These are the YES Network guys and I got to hand it to them, they pull no punches, they are frank and honest about what they just witnessed.

After game 2 they really laid into the Yankees for making excuses about the roof being open.

Maybe these superstars need to realise that part of their success was due to the mojo they had when they were with the Astros team.

No, HPU was bad for everybody. 2 games in a row.

Get ready, Vic Carapazza is potentially the worst of the postseason, and he's behind the plate Sunday.

No problems with what he said, it was all true.

Been watching the games muted while listening to other things from my phone this year... been a much more enjoyable playoff experience for me.

Man, that both saddened and aroused me at the same time. It’s cool to hear in baseball savant talk just how good our guys are… but damn, was he about to start crying?

While I agree with you on how impressive it is, I don’t know about “most cerebral” just because of that. Honestly I think it’s more common in elite athletes like this. Brady can tell you about plays from years ago and what the defense was running. Hell, even hearing Watson talk about what a defense lineup meant to him and how he would change the play. Greinke has a whole bunch about him. And I feel like Verlander has been known to do that after games sometimes too. But again, it’s really cool and I love hearing athletes talk about their game in a way that’s above our heads… humbles us a bit to see how truly great they are.

To be fair, any impartial party with a vested interest want every series to go the full distance.

When did the Yankees go from the best team to a not the best during the regular season? When they played the Astros. We've dominated them pretty much all season. Other than the two 9th inning hits from Judge at the peak of his powers, they've been completely ineffective against our pitching.

They've been the 2nd or 3rd best team for about 20 years.

Thought Carapazza was HPU for Game 5. Remember someone saying around here to win in 4 so we won't have to see him behind the plate this series.

    You're right.

He's still horrible no matter what/when/where/why he is behind the plate.

Adrian Johnson (1st LCS), who I am totally unfamiliar with, is Game 4 HPU.

LMAO. Theyve resorted back to just making fun of each other cause they have no clout with us anymore.
