that Bader AB was a joke. How he let him stand out of the box on the plate like that. Then his smug ass grin like he did something special. Thrown out like a b**** was instant Karma. I wanted them to bean his ass but then realized it’s just better to not give them baserunners and get a W. This clown and more excuses
I do not buy the "courtesy-only offer" to Correa that many on here have spewed. It was 5 years for $160 million. That's NOT a courtesy offer. A courtesy offer would have been 3 years 75 million. Correa will probably be finding out in short order he ain't getting $35 million per from anyone this off season. He just simply isn't worth that. If you did some blind resumes with other players you'd be surprised what his comp is. It's certainly not elite and certainly nowhere close to top 10 money in the entire sport. Hell, we offered him more than he's worth.
Awesome day of sports.... Astros continue to dominate the Yankees TCU wins their 4th game in a row against ranked opponents. Here's to wrapping up the weekend with an Astros win for the sweep tomorrow.
Does he wear that mouthpiece on defense too? If so I'm sure that impacts him yelling loud enough for the ball for Judge to hear.
We shall see. He already got a contract worth more than your presumed courtesy offer. The Astros knew full/well he wasn’t going to accept that offer… and thus far, he’s done better by not taking it.
Maldy and Vasquez are the unsung heroes on this team. They know how to handle this starting pitching and bullpen arms.
If the Astros sweep tomorrow, they will have the 2nd longest winning streak in post season history (tied with a few others at 7), only the Royals in 2014 won 8 in a row.
I can't imagine they would do that. There hasn't been a playoff double header since the 1800's. In any case, win the next game whether it's tomorrow night or Monday afternoon and say goodbye to the Yankees.
Didn't the Nationals win 8 in a row in 2019? Last 2 against the Dodgers, sweep the NLCS, and first 2 games against the Astros?
There aren't many players that could handle the 0-fer streak like Altuve is going through. But then again I haven't seen a more selfless team player than Mr. Altuve either.
If the Astros and Phillies close out the series tomorrow..do we get an earlier start date on the world series ? Right now its scheduled for the 28th, I'm hoping it starts earlier so I can go lol
