Lol first it was too many good SP for guys like Brown to pitch and now they win too many games to give guys an opportunity.
You can, but you lose the DH for the remainder of the game. Then it's old school with the pitcher being pinch hit for when his spot in the order comes around. With the smaller benches, it's quite risky.
Game 3 - must win for the Yankees Game 4 - pivotal game for the Yankees Game 5 - potential pivotal game for the Astros Nice to know pressure is not on us until game 5 at best.
I can guarantee that is not true. Besides playing baseball thru High School, I'm a 40-year Astros fan. Try again.
I am saying past performance is not indicative of future outcomes. By relying solely on them and ignoring current reality you have no opportunity to adapt and move forward. To argue obstinately against adapting to current conditions you paint yourself into a corner with no way out.
Look fool, you made this personal. I can't believe I'm going here, but... My Grandfather played minor League ball until leaving for WW2. Later, I was drafted out of high school, as a pitcher.. and played on, only to snap the epicureal plate/elbow...ending my career. Baseball was my first love. I've been an Astros fan out of the crib. I'm 56. Gramps had season tickets behind the visitors dugout 8 rows up in the Dome as long as he was alive. I could go on and on. But instead of going on about our experience..blah blah blah, swinging away at each other.... How about we just call a truce, use our knowledge to talk some ball, and root the Astros on. What do you say?
You should be talking to me. But the baseball I've forgotten isn't nearly as disturbing as the baseball I remember that didn't happen. Dementia takes many forms. I am highly functional for now. But the future is bleak. It happened to my Grandmother and my Father. I don't think it's skipping me. Earlier to day I had to look up Bregman because i totally forgot his name.
This really hits home. I'm so sorry. I know it's alot to deal with. My Grandmother developed dementia after having a tumor next to the pituitary gland that was pressing on the optic nerve. It's a lot to deal with in yourself or a loved one. Peace & Love Marshall. I look forward to talking plenty about our grand ole national pastime with you.
Uhh, Vazquez had nearly 50 ABs in September and had an OPS of ... .404. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/9762/splits Odd definition of "facts".
It appears tickets for Game #2 of the World Series in Houston are up for sale on VIVID SEATS and thinking of getting them. Ill have to fly in (somewhat refundable on miles). Before I buy tickets, is it better to wait for tickets to become officially on sale after clinching to get them cheaper or is that a fool's errand and best to get them now? I see Field 132 catching my eye for 2 tickets
Tickets officially went on sale today and sold out all 4 games within 5 minutes. Most of those secondary market tickets are actually from season ticket holders who’ve had playoff seats secured for some time…. Chances are they’ll keep prices high given the demand.
Man it's kind of a crapshoot. The most important variable is whether or not the Astros are winning or losing the series. When it looks like we are about to lose the series, the prices of those tickets go down significantly and vice versa. I know some of my friends wait till the very last minute. Personally, I just buy them whenever I feel committed and just play my luck.
If you pay close attention, you will notice how Framber's wiffle-like curveball is aided by the wind blowing towards left field. F'ing cheater Astros and the roof being conveniently open for this game.
