Later, I was drafted out of high school, as a pitcher.. and played on, only to snap the epicureal plate/elbow...ending my career. Baseball was my first love. I've been an Astros fan out of the crib. I'm 56. Gramps had season tickets behind the visitors dugout 8 rows up in the Dome as long as he was alive. I could go on and on. But instead of going on about our experience..blah blah blah, swinging away at each other.... How about we just call a truce, use our knowledge to talk some ball, and root the Astros on. But the future is bleak. It happened to my Grandmother and my Father. I don't think it's skipping me. Earlier to day I had to look up Bregman because i totally forgot his name.
This really hits home. I'm so sorry. I know it's alot to deal with. My Grandmother developed dementia after having a tumor next to the pituitary gland that was pressing on the optic nerve. It appears tickets for Game #2 of the World Series in Houston are up for sale on VIVID SEATS and thinking of getting them. Ill have to fly in (somewhat refundable on miles). Before I buy tickets, is it better to wait for tickets to become officially on sale after clinching to get them cheaper or is that a fool's errand and best to get them now? Tickets officially went on sale today and sold out all 4 games within 5 minutes. Most of those secondary market tickets are actually from season ticket holders who’ve had playoff seats secured for some time…. Chances are they’ll keep prices high given the demand.
Man it's kind of a crapshoot. The most important variable is whether or not the Astros are winning or losing the series. When it looks like we are about to lose the series, the prices of those tickets go down significantly and vice versa. I know some of my friends wait till the very last minute. Personally, I just buy them whenever I feel committed and just play my luck.
