Someone remind me, has Javier started in a postseason game before?

    Right?

If you have guys at full rest, you don't go with lesser pitchers just for the hell of it.

    That's wrong, but very true.

    I still have the scars.

vasquez isn't worth being a DH anyway and lee has no business being on the postseason roster

Vazquez sucks though. He's no different than Mancini or Diaz - veteran with a track record who's sucked for a while now. Hopefully Hensley gets a chance in game 4.

He probably knows the yankee's pitching better than anyone on our roster. I bet he has the most at bats against most of their pitchers (haven't checked).

I guess its a moot point since can't DH him anyways now.

    Exactly.

Maybe they thought the fan put the ball in Tucker's glove after they caught it.

After all "no excuses" is their mantra this year.

Is that really their Mantra this year? I've heard that elsewhere. All they do is offer excuses.

    I don’t think so.
This next start is the exact matchup he pitched in NY.
    Cole vs Javier.

You don't discuss that as an umpiring crew. That's not a thing.

It's up to the opposing team to throw to first base and appeal.

    Sorry, wrong answer.

Y'all need to think before y'all post stuff.

Those numbers represent past performance and are not indicative of future outcomes. Pretty much everybody understands that.

    Um ok?

Are you saying don't use analytics or averages at all, since they also represent past performance?
