There is always some luck but these aren’t lucky wins. It’s phenomenal pitching and timely hitting. The only big lucky break we got was Tucker getting to Judge’s hit. That was one of the wind shifted a little bit or it’s dead air is gone. we’ve been having bad luck with Yordan getting picked off at first and Altuve hitting it hard multiple times right to a Yankee. Also Torres making a double play while on his back.
In 2017 it was OK to be nervous going to New York. But now the Astros own the city of New York, the Yankees players and their wives. Relax and enjoy
That was a relatively routine catch by a gold glove finalist. It would be luck if it was going to be an HR and it hit a bird which enabled a catch. Both teams play in the same conditions. Judge should have hit it harder.
I predict Altuve will break out of his super slump in Yankee Stadium. Astro hitters are yet to break through. They will. Against Cole. They know his stuff.
Well, give yourself some credit because a lot of people never notice that sort of thing, but he’s a master at it.
Well...since you asked. It's the postseason, you do everything you can to win the game you're playing. If that means JV throws 143 pitches in a 24 inning Game 7, then that's what you do.
The Yankees are washed and have been for the last 20 years. They don't hit for contact and are incapable of manufacturing runs. The Indians proved this and nearly beat them with a quarter of the payroll and the Astros are simply a much better version of the Indians.
Its the deepest across the rotation and bullpen no question. I think if you just look at the rotation you could make the case the 2018 or 1986 rotations were better.
