This is like the early 2000’s Stros. Great pitching and cold hitting. EXCEPT ITS US WINNING THE CLOSE GAMES!!
So huge to go up 2-0 at home in the 2-3-2 format, especially when they have their #1 and #2 starters on the mound back in NY. Worst case, you lose 3 in the Bronx and you’re still coming back to H-town. Win only 1 in NY and you come home needing 1 win in 2 home games. And if your the Yankees……you must win 4 out of 5
final score is 3-0 astros I dont care. If it wasn't for a Framber belly flop yankees wouldn't have scored anything.
He looked bad in the Seattle series swinging at everything. He’s had a much better approach the last two games.
Actually, it means that we have the best pitching staff in the game. At least to those of us that have actually watched them play all year.
If you think our offense was bad, yankees only scored on 2 UNEARNED runs today lmao Here's hoping Altuve, Yordan, Tuck, Breggy, & whoevers batting DH tear the mfing seal off the ball in NY against Rat faced Cole & Nestor the molestor
Can someone explain to me on Judge's deep pop to right why we didn't throw to first to appeal whether Bader left the base early? Even if he probably didn't we don't know what the umpire saw and review could be unclear. I just don't see any downside to appealing. Why wouldn't we?
Not gonna lie, I'm nervous af with them going to NY, but to be fair, I'm nervous until its over. Lol postseason baseball is wild.
Every postseason the concern with the small sample is that your offense goes cold over a stretch and it's game over. That's exactly what has happened. Yordan, Altuve, Tucker (our best hitters) and Diaz/Mancini have given us absolutely nothing, almost literally, and we've managed to win all of the games. That's a damn good sign.
