I'm right here. I bet Buck Turgidson and two other friends two beers to their four that Boston wins the series. They're gonna do it.

That would be nice to see. It might be the greatest comeback of all time if it happened, considering that it's 0-3 and the two teams involved. And then maybe we can put an end to this "curse" garbage.

Course, I'm not holding my breath on a comeback.

Must be harsh to be a Red Sox fan.

Edit: Hey...they might win this one. 2 outs men at 2nd and 3rd.

    3-0 count

anyone know the heimlich because cabrera and ortiz are choking.

cabrera the same pitch 3 times in a row, all terrible swings.

ortiz completely overmatched and apparently he has the utter inability to not swing at any pitch up and in. here's a hint ortiz, it's coming up and in, lay off of it. geez.

the first part of that comeback was so quick and then the last part was so hard.

i gotta give the yankees credit, they know how to do the red sox dirty in the worst ways possible. i mean they could've shut 'em down and ended it painlessly but instead they get their hopes up, load the bases, then get out of it and will win it in extra's while keeping the sox fans hopes up a little while longer. brilliant i must say.

And if they top that... I'll be surprised.

I kinda wish they'd comeback in the series, except that it would be the story (the only story) that would top everyone's memory of this season after the 'Stros storm into the WS.

So, I guess I'll settle for "Stros vs. Yanks... ;)

    You called?:p

Thank God they are not going to get swept, but it ends today. At least Pedro is not pitching at the Bronx Zoo.

Yeah, I missed my favorite Red Sox fan. ;)

I could see this thing going back to NY, but no further than game 6.

All Red sox fans should be happy, the series won't be over until something really strange happens. And that moment sox fans, has not come yet. So what do you have to be worried about. Right now you are in total control.

I would be shocked if Boston wins today. Remember...the Yankees are Pedro's "Daddy".

It might be too late now, but a fast ball up high on Matsui would spice things up. And when the benches clear, a useless sack like Kapler should just suplex Matsui and Arod. That would be key to any comeback.

Slightly off topic but speaking of fights.

Manny have you heard anything about the lawsuit against Garcia and Nelson from last years little tiff with the BoSox employee?

Seems I've never heard how that was all resolved.

No, I was wondering about that as well. Maybe our lawyer, MadMax (who is also a Red Sox fan, I think), knows about it.

how the hell did 3 runs score on that?

only jeter hits a dinky piece of crap down the line and has it barely fall in instead of go foul and then have 3 runs score.

what was that, pitch 101 that it came on? amazing.

pedro could've made life easy by not hitting whoever that was.

    or arod just now.

    bo sox are done.

Jeter comes through in the clutch with a 3 run double.

Now 4-2 Yankees for those of you scoring at home.

Uh-oh. 2 of the last 3 batters were hit by pitches. Pedro's daddy is about to bust out the whooping stick!
