wow damon with a grand slam, if the yanks come back from this there truly is something going on with the curse and the ghosts at yankee stadium.

Johhny Damon with a grand slam, WHAT!?!?

He's like the only guy batting worse then Biggio is in a CS this year.... oh wait there's Renteria, but you get the point.

This is so awesome what the Red Sox are doing. Unprecedented - 0-3 to this.

You guys haven't seen Derek Lowe much this year.

Trust me - if anyone can cough up a 6 run lead in a heartbeat, it is him.

Im sort of happy for the Red Sox, but I think the Red Sox fans are some of the most self-important people in the world.

    I couldn't agree more.

The Red Sox have earned my utmost respect for digging back from a 0-3 hole like they have.

But I HATE the typical "woe is us, we haven't won in 80 whatever years, we're cursed" red sox fan...

so ****ing what? some of us have never had a team IN the god damn world series.

get over yourselves already and shut up!

Yeah, I heard somewhere that they would gladly trade 5 Superbowl wins by the Patriots for 1 World Series Championship for the Red Sox.

I doubt Red Sox fans would do that. 5 Superbowls for 1 World Series? you gotta be kidding.

It will be interesting to see how the Red Sox blow this game.

Yeah, and hopefully if they do win the World Series, they will shut up about this stuff.

Believe it or not, there are some that would do that. I know I would, but then again I am a Red Sox fan and a Denver Broncos fan.:p Those are the fans that annoy me the most. They are the ones that believe in curses and bunk like that.

Meanwhile, I think Derek Lowe is trying to show someone out there that for next season he could make a good #2 or #3 starter (so far).

I bet when the Yankees come back in the bottom of the 9th it's really going to make the sting extra bad...

I hate the Yankees as much as any non-Red Sox fan could, but I would rather the Astros face them, assuming the Astros don't screw it up tomorrow. The national humiliation of losing to the Red Sox in a WS would be unbearable.

WTF? Humiliation?? Sorry, but how would that be humiliating when the Red Sox have a better record in winning 98 games (assuming they hold on here - never a safe assumption)?

That is the dumbest thing I have EVER read here and I have read some doozies in 3+ years.

I mean you got people like drapg complaining about the "whoa is me" fans of Red Sox nation and yet you feed that monster by making such a, no offense, asinine statement.

EDIT - I guess I need to clarify by "feeding that monster" - it is sounding like to me that you think Red Sox fans are such poor schmucks, that losing to their team would be worse than losing to the Devil Rays. Puhleeze.
