Framber needs the defensive shift for him to be effective. Imma give the team this offseason to figure it all out with the defensive position and pitch location because of no more shift. No pitch clock also doesn't give him time to calm himself down. If framber and the team still can't figure out by 2024, then he's not a 1 or 2 in the rotation.
I had a meeting and missed half the game. Was there any drama in the bottom of the ninth or was it three up and three down?
I need to know first if the identity of the manager counts for seeing eye grounders and bloop hits in the first inning. I’ll hang up and listen.
I think it is because the best player can only have so much of an impact in baseball. As good as Yordan is as a hitter, he only gets 3-4 ABs per game and if no one is on each time the most he can do is get 1 run and hope its enough to win. Look at how good Trout was this past decade and look at his lack of team success. Meanwhile, a good QB (as we are seeing) can win you games consistently. If your QB plays better than the other QB, most likely your team wins. In basketball if your best player outplays the other teams best player, you win. In baseball if you are the best hitter your damage depends on the circumstances of the game and if you are a shut down Ace you can play 1 game in a series, maybe 2. In baseball there is only so much one great player can do, there is a limit actually. Whereas in almost every other team sport one great player can consistently win you games.
I’m sure you’ve dealt with some **** in your life and made it shine anyway. Pretty sure you’re a good dude. But I’d bet that neither one of us is as good at our jobs as any one of these “losers” are at theirs. If it makes you feel better to call them that then ok. But you and I both know that’s ridiculous.
3 up 3 down but Peña hit one to the warning track in right and Altuve had a big swing that looked good but hit too much off the end of the bat for a flyout to deepish left center.
I’m not going to blame the pitch clock. If that was the case then he should have struggled the 1st half of the season when it was brand new. He even threw a no hitter with it.
when was the last time the astros comeback from being down more than 4 runs and win the game? this team doesn't know how to play from behind.
