Got a run, and made him throw A LOT of pitches. I'll definitely take it.

 

29 pitches for Sale, and we score the first run...I'll take it!

 

He threw it to every RHB but Carlos. Interesting

 

Good 1st. Right where we want to be at home.

 

Even after the long first from Valdez, we're winning the pitch count game in addition to having a 1 run lead.

 

Sale doesn't look terrible but he's certainly hittable. FOr all the talk of how hard he is on lefties both Brantly and Yordon made good contact.

 

I hate the Camera work. They're in love with the crowd instead of the game.

It's like they're stuck on panoramic shots.

 

Sale didn't come across as dominant. And that's a good sign.

 

Time to Framberlate 'em.

 

30 pitches already. Yordan started off that AB badly, swinging at what he shouldn't.....As wild as Sale was, he should have been taking the first pitch, but he redeemed himself with the SF.

These are good hitters that can control the ball. We've twice seen their hitters beat the shift. Need to rethink doing it or relying on it so much.

 

Framber can't continue to throw first pitch balls.
