It's not just bad luck...these guys have been making plays. Defense matters.

If we're not hitting it directly to them they are making some highlight play.

    It really is unreal.

In odd ways I’m glad to see Springer showing that frustration. It shows he’s not giving up and he wants to win.

Twitter calling this karma. Nothing to do with a bottom seed playing the #1 seed lol

I hate to say it, but the baseball Gods are speaking. This is a flawless series by the Rays. And then our gold glove second baseman cost us six runs in two games from faulty defense. Could be the difference between us being up 2-1 and us being down 3-0.

Let's accept our punishment, get Verlander back and Yordan back. Hopefully bring back Springer or Brantley, and run it back.

Dusty needs to spread fake news in that locker room.

Yeah, I can't imagine the silly crap that's going to be said about this unless we do the unthinkable here and come back.

Whatever. Astros are still a well run organization, we're going to be relevant for a long time. Maybe one year these guys get all the bounces again.

Honestly I still don’t hate the Rays..
They are making plays and can’t blame them for our own mistakes.

what’s really going to bother me is all of the haters especially Yankees fans who are going to be celebrating our demise

Yep. They remind me of the Royals in '15. Great defense, solid pitching, and score runs however you can.

Rays saved the Yankees from the embarrassment of losing to us, Yankee fans should really appreciate the Rays for that at least.

If they lose tomorrow might be the last time we see Springer in a Stros uniform. He’ll probably go to Boston so he’ll be close to his family in Connecticut. Hope not.

If the ball is a foot shorter, if a ball is smoked a foot left, sorry but yea there has been a mix of both luck and great plays. I’ve said in many other posts they’ve played good defense but let’s not act like destiny’s placement doesn’t play a part

Carl Winslow, you were right about having a rested Joshua James.
