Exactly.. Odds are it’s over tonight but no matter what happens I’m still glad I got to see this team some more and make it to another ALCS especially going through the A’s.
This is probably the easiest explanation. If he couldn’t throw or was apprehensive about it due to injury he could simply have been the DH.
Was it Pineapple that had like 5 errors in one week back in 2016 or 2017. Altuve will bounce back like his post season hitting but the f' ups are going to leave a sour taste for a year on everyone. the person who said Springer should leave because of losing the lead. It's difficult making the ALCS.
It could be something minor that is enough to just throw him off. Notice that in the switch Correa went to the position that Altuve normally does. That wouldn’t happen without Baker’s approval. It’s also just as possible that Altuve isn’t being completely honest about his condition to Baker or himself. My only point is that none of us know for sure what is exactly wrong with Altuve.
This is a consolation prize....I think not many expected us to be in the ALCS. That said, it is gut wrenching to know that won of your stars did a total choke that allowed the series to get away from us. We definitely haven't played our best baseball this series. Not comforting with JJ pitching as he makes a lot of mistake pitches that tend to leave the park.
Because he's Jose Altuve and if he says he wants to play, he gets to play. He's never done this before in his career, which is what makes this really ****ing strange. Is it in his head? Is he hurt? I don't know, nobody does.
