    Hmmm which explains to why we will be playing a faster pace. Kings were number one is pace last year if I’m not mistaken

    OKC's media was pretty damn accommodating to Russ. One guy set him off then he almost froze out the entire press room with his one word answers and icy demeanor: they were all afraid of him.

    Houston is pretty chill, but we got some assholes too. I hope someone doesn't set him off.

    People in the media keep telling me that Russ' defense will improve. People in the media keep telling me his defense is 1st team when he is dialed in. I hope so.

    Doesn’t matter what city the media is in. The true test for Russ and the media is always when things aren’t going so well. He’s always been ok otherwise.

    They weren't. It was one guy that was the *******. Russ took it out on everyone else because when that one guy asked a question in the press room or the locker room, the atmosphere died. Russ didn't want to ask no more questions because of that one guy.

    Also, his last few years, Russ was a chucker and a TO machine, the OKC media just asked him about his shot selection and ball control, the regular stuff, and Russ pushed back.

    You can say the media was hard on him when KD was there, but after, when KD left, they had a new found appreciation for him.

    OKC media was normal

    Oooo. Interesting. If this is Dan Tony's last hurrah I'd gladly take Joeger. Doc Rivers and Spoelstra were on Woj's pod recently and both said he was the most difficult guy to coach against.

    The 10 consecutive triple doubles late in the season during a playoff run. Doesn't get much better 10 straight games with triple double.

    The roster is wide open for Hartenstein. Tucker got released from FIBA! If Jokic got 150 million then Hartenstein surely could mustard a few million here or there!

    His defense was terrible for a few years after KD left and his load was enormous. Last year he was a lot better defensively and I don’t think it was coincidence that he had George helping with the load.

    I expect his defense to be better than average in this system. The concern with him is if he can relearn to shot the ball.
