Everyone forgets that the offense struggled a bit out of the gate last season. The offense struggling a bit and really finding their rhythm is no big deal for the first couple weeks. At least as long as the pitching is solid.
You'd think after winning a WS and it being only the second game of a long season, the pressure would be off, but my nerves are already frayed!
Ah well, 3 of 4 is always the goal in a 4 game series. 11 more base runners today after 12 yesterday, those guys will start scoring.
Over the two games combined, Astros hitters have had 15 ABs with runners in scoring position. And out of all that, only one hit (Stassi's double in tonight's game). Odds would say the team should be at least 4 for 15 with RISP.
