They're trading up for Watson. They're trading up for Mahomes. They're taking the OT. They're not taking a QB in the first. I'm surprised Billy's loose lips haven't leaked the pick right. Isn't that right @Mr. Clutch? Nobody knows.
People over hyping the QB position just like every other draft but hope other GMs don't reach and we have a couple of options at #25. Also, is Watson a wait one year project or is there a chance he gets starts this year?
Could be a possibility. That's on another topic but atm I'd do anything for a Joe Flacco on this team. At least we'd know we had a top 15 starting caliber QB which is apparently (according to some) all we need.
Every QB in this class is at least a one year project best case scenario. Of course you could throw any of them in there year one if you want some unintentional comedy.
Reaching for a QB in the first rd would be a huge disappointment for this team. No QB worth 1st round pick.
Pancakes -- I will be shocked if Texans have a chance to get Mahomes or Watson and passes them up. I don't think either will be available at 25. This guy is wrong every year. I can't wait for his tweets.
I have full faith he won't miss on the 1st round pick. I have no faith he will hit on the 2nd-4th round picks
Personally I would trade Flacco's playoff run for Duane Brown as long we get the perfect playoff run Flacco had.
from a cowboys site: 25. Houston Texans – Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida Once again, Houston gets shut out of the QB derby and will rely on Tom Savage to be their guy after they refused to trade for Tony Romo. A strong defense keeps building, waiting for the day when the offense is capable. http://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/201...nd-mock-with-trades-gives-cowboys-the-edge/3/
Jason Braddock also mentioned Davis as his "disappointing" pick for the Texans. If that's how the draft goes down, I'd rather take Obi or trade back.
